The School, through its international networks, has established a collaborative partnership with various institutions that seek to enhance capacity building in the financial sector in Kenya and the region. In this collaborative arrangement, CBK-IMS is leveraging the expertise our partners have developed over the years in delivering globally recognized professional education and certifications. This collaboration provides an opportunity for CBK-IMS and participants to tap into a wide network of financial expertise on a global platform.

COMESA MONETARY INSTITUTE (CMI)

Undertake all the technical preparatory work needed for enhancing monetary cooperation and ultimate creation of the Common Central Bank and the introduction of a common currency in the COMESA region.

CREDIT INFORMATION SHARING ASSOCIATION (CIS)OF KENYA​

Improve risk management in the credit market, both banking and non-bank sectors.

Stimulate economic development and financial inclusion through an orderly, stable and efficient credit market.

Promote risk-based pricing that rewards low risk customers and improves credit allocation process.

AFRICAN INSTITUTE FOR REMITTANCES (AIR)

To develop capacity of the member states of the African Union, Remittance senders and recipients and other stakeholders to implement concrete strategies and operational instruments to use remittances as development tools for poverty reduction.

(Reduce cost of Remittance and promote use of official formal channels of money transfer).

AFRICA RURAL AND AGRICULTURAL CREDIT ASSOCIATION (AFRACA)

Policy development and advocacy initiatives aimed at strengthening agri-finance policies and operations. Demand driven capacity building that includes peer to peer learning among member institutions and partners.

Promoting and coordinating knowledge management services that provide value adding information ; and Partnership and networking aimed at creating synergy and enhancing outreach.

All the programmes aim at accomplishing AFRACAs ultimate goal of improving agricultural finance policy environment in the continent which is one of the core functions of Central Banks.

THE DEUTSCHE BUNDESBANK

Foster cooperation between CBK and Bundesbank with regard to training and technical assistance for executive and professional members of staff of the CBK.

FINANCIAL ACCESS EAST AFRICA (FAEA)

Offer Agri-Business Training Consultancy for Financial Institutions for the benefit of Global Communities. Provide Training on Agribusiness fundamentals.

JOMO KENYATTA UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE & TECHNOLOGY (JKUAT)

Boost middle and higher level education in Kenya and the region. Build Necessary capacity to enable CBK-IMS grow into a full fledged specialized University.

GLOBAL ASSOCIATION OF RISK PROFESSIONALS (GARP)

Deliver Risk Certification Program and such other mutually agreed financial risk management education and training for the benefit of the financial sector in Kenya and the region.

MOI UNIVERSITY

Offer Masters in Banking & Finance and Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management
Assist CBK-IMS to eventually acquire accreditation by the Commission for University Education.

SAS INSTITUTE (PROPRIETARY) LTD

To provide KSMS with SAS Big data analytics software.

ORACLE UNIVERSITY

Build capacity for the Financial and allied sectors that have invested in Oracle technologies; and for Graduates seeking to advance their knowledge of Oracle by offering training courses on all Oracle Products in order to develop human capital necessary for efficient and effective delivery of IT-driven systems.

INTERNATIONAL CENTRE FOR EDUCATION IN ISLAMIC FINANCE (INCEIF)

Provide Framework for cooperation between KSMS and INCEIF with regard to development and expansion of knowledge in Islamic banking, exchange of technical information and Faculty.

LETTERS OF CREDIT TRAINING ACADEMY (LCTA)

To enable CBK-IMS leverage on the expertise of LTCA faculty in international trade finance training and advisory services; most of whom are senior and active members of the International Chamber of Commerce.

US DEPARTMENT OF THE TREASURY OFFICE OF TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE (OTA) BANKING & FINANCIAL SERVICES PROGRAM

Support Development of strong financial sectors and sound public financial management in countries where assistance is needed; mainly targeting central banks,, ministries of finance, banking insurance and other financial sector regulatory and supervision age agencies in emerging or transitional economies In the following areas.

THE CIVIPOL CONSEIL ( SERVICE & CONSULTANCY COMPANY OF THE FRENCH MINISTRY OF INTERIOR AND CONTRACTOR OF THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION)

Provide a capacity building framework for delivering Anti Money Laundering/ Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/ CFT) programs in the greater Horn of Africa including Kenya, Uganda and Yemen.
Support the regulatory role of the Central Bank of Kenya to improve integrity of the financial system and promote financial inclusion.
